In 2015-16, we delivered a number of important government initiatives and taxation legislation programs aimed at supporting Victoria’s employers, business and industry. This included:
- Administering the Back to Work Scheme to encourage and support employment growth in Victoria by providing financial assistance to businesses that employ eligible job seekers,
- The launch of our much-anticipated Small Business Hub, designed to give customers a single source of timely news, tips and updates relevant to their day-to-day professional needs,
- Our SRO experts delivering 38 external speaking engagements to industry and business groups across the state to more than 1100 participants, and
- Facilitating regular meetings of the State Taxes Consultative Council involving senior industry stakeholders and peak professional bodies
